Child and Adolescent psychiatric services will be provided to children from age 3-18. Education, parent-child relationship and peer related matters are decidedly considered when treating Children and Adolescents. Pathways Specialty Clinic treats a variety of mental illnesses in Children & Adolescents including, but not limited to,

Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
A disorder characterized by impairment in staying in focus and/or marked hyperactivity- impulsivity, predominantly emerge during childhood and affects academic, social functioning.
Autism Spectrum Disorder
It’s a complex neurodevelopmental disorder that involves persistent deficits in social interactions, speech and nonverbal communication, and repetitive pattern of behaviors. It is usually treated by a multidisciplinary team of experts.
Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder (DMDD)
Childhood onset depressive disorder presents with frequent temper tantrums, marked irritability between temper tantrums most of the day and almost every day.
Depression (Major Depressive Disorder, Persistent Depressive disorder/Dysthymic Disorder, etc.)
Depressive disorders characterized by depressed mood or loss of interest in activities, causing significant distress, impairment in daily activities and relationships with others.
Bipolar Disorders
Type of disorders characterize by marked fluctuation of moods, energy levels, sleep, concentration & Impulsive risky behaviors causing significant distress, impairment in daily activities and relationships with others.
Psychotic Disorders– (Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorder, Delusional Disorder, Brief Psychotic Disorder, etc.)
A group of psychiatric disorders that markedly deviates an individual understanding of reality, characterized by delusional thinking, hallucinations, disorganized thought processing, poor selfcare and lack of ability & motivation to function normally.
Anxiety Disorders- (Generalized anxiety disorder, Separation Anxiety, Panic disorder, and various Phobia-related disorders)
Group of disorders characterized by heightened anxiety, fear, inability to stop worrying & experiencing Panic attacks.
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
Obsessive-compulsive disorder is characterized by unreasonable thoughts and fears (obsessions) that lead to compulsive behaviors causing significant distress & impairment in daily activities
Trauma related Disorders– (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Acute Stress Disorder)
Mental health conditions that are triggered by either experiencing a life-threatening event or witnessing it. Symptoms may include flashbacks, nightmares and severe anxiety, as well as uncontrollable thoughts about the event.
Sleep Disorders- (Insomnia Disorder, Hypersomnolence Disorder, Circadian Rhythm Sleep-wake Disorder, Parasomnias, etc)
Sleep disorders can be comorbid with a variety of Mental & Medical illnesses. Sleep disorders can affect one’s overall health, and quality of life.
Adjustment Disorders
stress, feeling sad or hopeless, and physical symptoms that can occur after a child goes through a stressful life event in the family, at school or in social/peer relationships.
Eating Disorders – (Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge eating Disorder, Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder, etc.)
Maladaptive patterns of food intake (restricting or excessive eating) , with or without irrational concerns about one’s weight and with or without inappropriate compensatory behaviors to prevent weight gain. Eating disorders are

Evaluations

Telepsychiatry: Initial Psychiatric Evaluation $350 / Follow Up $125 (15 min), $200 (30min)
Telephone Calls with Providers: Free for less than 5 minutes and then $30 per each 5 minutes increments.
Medical Records: Copying of medical records will incur a minimum of $25 fee. If paperwork is more than 20 pages, additional charges will apply (0.50 cents for each additional page along with the cost of delivery of records) Medical Records will be forwarded or faxed to your provider free of charge for continuation of care with your consent.
